Here are a few of the posters created between 1995 and 1999 for AFWFA's campaign
to deprogram the American work ethic. Drawn with Sharpie pens and printed at Kinko's,
this was (and remains) a low tech, black and white movement. Vocalizing our belief
that all people are artists of some kind, it seamed fitting that the illustrations
were crude and "unproffesional" no matter how many times I re-drew them.
Art can be a humbling experience. If you see anything you like, feel free to print,
copy or distribute- after all it is propaganda. |
